"Armenia" International Airports "CJSC

Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan, is the main air gate of the Republic of Armenia, which has been operating since 1961. On December 17, 2001 the Government of the Republic of Armenia signed a concession agreement with the Argentine “Corporación América”, by which management of Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan was entrusted to “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC for 30 years. In June 2002 “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC assumed management of the airport.

Yerevan Botanical Garden

The Yerevan Botanical Garden of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences, is the body responsible for plant collections in Armenia. It is located in the Avan district at the north-eastern part of the capital Yerevan, occupying around 80 hectares of a semi-desert area. The collection includes more than 200 species of endemic, rare and declining plants, and provides a basis, in a relatively natural environment, for the study of the Armenian flora and the ecological interactions between plant species.
